Back 9 at Dunes or Rivers Edge, or either 9 at Kings North. I

Truth be told - anywhere I could get in an extra nine holes would be fine with me!

"Anywhere I could get in an extra nine holes."  My sentiments exactly.

Anyone know if there's any true 9 hole deals in MB? Like a 6:00 pm start for x dollars? I've never come across a course advertising/promoting something like that.

Sadly some courses in Myrtle don't offer that 6pm deal because employees want to go home. Eagle Nest and Arcadian Shores are notorious for that. Both courses I went up there before 5pm in summer looking to play 9 holes and neither course would let me play even if I walked without an electric cart. With several full hours of daylight this doesn't seem to make sense at first, but I guess there's no great demand for late afternoon play so they shut down early to save costs.

On the other extreme is the Legends. One time I got there 5:30pm in summer to get in 9 holes and there were like 30 bags sitting in the bag drop area. The clerk inside said he could get me out around 6:15pm. No thanks.

However, some courses welcome the late rounds (Glen Dornoch, Barefoot).

As for my favorite nine ... this is a toughie. In no particular order:

- Back nine Dunes Club
- Back nine Oyster Bay
- Front nine Tidewater
- Back nine Tidewater
- Back nine Glen Dornoch
- Back nine Wachesaw Plantation
- Back nine Heritage Club

Great question. I'm with Art. Never really thought about it but, in my case, 9 holes would probably mean I'm a little pressed for time so the closest nine would be the answer.

I used to do 9 holes at Indian Wells and have done it at Indigo Creek. Some of the courses will do it if you ask. Indian Wells is now closed. I have heard other courses offering it, mostly in the afternoons.
