I look at the total cost this way at an expensive course. I will usually play 2 rounds a day. The price of the replay rate plus the cost of the first round ...divide by 2 and look at my cost per round.Even though I am paying out more $$$, It seems like I am getting more value for my money.

Caledonia at approximately $ 160 a round plus $ 75 for a 18 hole replay ..totals $ 235 for both rounds. Divide that by 2 ..and $ 117.50 per round sounds and feels a lot more reasonable.

My top 5 are in order but so close in my perspective with the exception of the Dunes Club, fastest greens I have seen in Myrtle Beach. There are so many top tier courses to compile a complete list that is why I stuck to my top 5 best.

  1. Dunes Club
  2. Caledonia
  3. TPC Myrtle Beach
  4. Grande Dunes Resort Course
  5. Pawley's Plantation
