Tier one all the way. Greens rolled smooth at 10 ish, no issues playing the ball down - roughs not too tough. Gets to be a mess at the bag drop there. Unbelievably good French fries in the restaurant. Some very long par 4's here, even from the senior tees. 4.5 hours to play. Always a great day at Tidewater.

Maybe you just had a bunch of golfers arriving at the same time.
I recommend the upper parking lot, if you don't mind walking to the bag drop,
because its flat and not far. I think carts can ride there after play.

Tidewater was in great shape 11 months ago.
They hosted a tournament there in lat October, and when I played it in early/mid October they had plenty of people raking the roughs, making it look real good.
It was the best I've seen TW.
She's a beauty when sh'e all dolled up.

My all time favorite course to play in Myrtle Beach!! I have never scored well at Tidewater... i think 82 is my best round...but i just love the layout!! The added bonus of a free drop if you hit your golf ball into a home owners yard was a big hit with my group!! 🙂 Tidewater will be the last round we play on this years trip... October 25th!!
One of my all time favorite courses it will make you think about every shot to play it well.
