Tee Time: 12:25

Rate: Golf Now Hot Deal $115

Tees: Overseeded and in good shape

Fairways: Evenly overseeded and great shape. Stripes always a nice bonus

Rough: Not overseeded wall to wall so rough was a bit more thin

Bunkers: Plentiful! With riveted faces. Good shape.

Greens: Mackay side has had its greens redone more recently so they are firmer and a bit quicker

Gators: One BIG boy, one decent, two smaller ones

POP: We were the first out on the afternoon wave so we played in a bit over 3 hours

Cart Paths: No issues

First out in the PM of a double tee can be great for a good pace.
Only time it's not good pace is if the course is fully booked.

I've played Thistle many times and it was always in good shape. Really enjoyed the course and the customer service. Thanks!

Another good report on a fan favorite course, Thistle just seems to always be in decent shape.

Thanks for the solid review!Thistle at $115 Hot Deal sounds like a pretty good value. Nice to hear the tees and fairways were in great shape with good stripes. Bunkers with riveted faces are always a plus too.Mackay side greens being firmer/faster makes sense after the redo. Quick 3-hour round as the first group out is perfect.Gators putting on their usual show—always adds some excitement!Overall, sounds like a much better bang-for-buck than Heritage Club at similar pricing. Might have to give Thistle another look.
