Got a chance to play on the new greens at Pearl West - wow! Smooth, and surprisingly somewhat quick at about 9, it was a pleasure putting on them. They held pretty well too. Congrats to whoever put them in. The rest of the course was over seeded a week ago and lots of rye is coming up. Fairways were good, roughs extremely tough in many areas. I like both Pearls, tough to choose if East or West is better, but I think I prefer the East layout and the West green complexes.

Good to hear about the new greens being good.

This seems like an early fairway overseed.

Thanks for reporting!

Not sure if it's early or not - but after a week - it's growing pretty good - they overseeded East a week later

Thanks for the report, thinking of adding the Pearl West to our annual spring trip, with the hope for a cheap replay on the East Course.  Does anyone know if htey have good value replay rates?

Since Pearl East is a Single Tee course and West double tees, if planning to replay, it
should work out better to play the East in the AM (possibly a faster round) and replay
on West, which double tees and will have more PM tee times and more convenient if
only replaying 9.

Replay rates at all the courses are in the half price range.

Thanks for the report.  I'll give the nod to the East as well, until I play the West, and then like the West, until I play the East, and then like the East again.  🙂
