Palmetto was our second 18 as the boys played the Dunes with 1p1 and UGP played Wild Wing with his local buddies. Palmetto is in great condition, can play the ball down, greens rolled good though not super fast around 9. Hats off their superintendent. First I want to apologize as I never took any pictures - I guess I was too focused on the match. A slow start by the long hitter team gave an early lead to the short guys, an A08 birdie on 6 cut the lead to 1, but a birdies by Bandit and UGP on 8 closed the door on the front side. On the back, they started off with 3 birdies in a row to make the day look dark for us but clawing and scratching back with a bandit birdie on 14 and UGP on 16 we pulled back even and fortunately for us, A08 got robbed on his birdie putt on 18. So in the end Bandit and UGP were the winners at 1 up. A great time, sorry that the guys are leaving (my wife isn't) A08 with a bad start at 75 and his partner at 73. Bandit 74 and UGP perhaps the ugliest 72 ever shot. Great fun was had
