Finished in 4 hours i think.
Got paired with a good guy from Connecticut named Keith.
Possum Trot was in pretty good shape considering it is closing in 3 weeks ..they are not taking care of the bunkers , but they are cutting the grass everywhere.
..the greens were very good and they rolled about at 9 just about the same speed as Diamondback and Parkland.
The fairways were pretty good not great and they are not fertilizing so there were some cloverleaf's here and there. No big deal.
UGP gave me a stroke a side in the match ...it came down to the last hole which I butchered and UGP took the trophy back from me.
It was good to see David (POLEKAT on the forum). We met last year at The Wizzard. Watch for his posts here because he comes up with some good information about restaurants and golf courses.
It was a bittersweet day because we had a good time but it's sad to see another Golf Course closing down.
Farewell Possum Trot. First time here...Glad we finally met.

Played PT once 4 years ago - not a bad track, some very good holes. WIDE fairways, and rough not too tough. A lot of much better tracks, but glad I played it before it closes forever. Met the greenskeeper, he'd been there for 30 years. Had they not sold, PT would have needed at least $1,000,000 invested back into it.
Great meeting Polekat - it was definitely a UGH day today and always enjoy playing with JW who is putting extremely well.

Possum Trot was my 2nd ever course played in MB back in 1969, always enjoyed a game there since then, thanks for the post.
