On a COLD and WINDY day - 18 of us ventured out to Myrtlewood - Pine Hills
Never really warmed up - and drizzled occasionally -
Course is over seeded all to wall and in pretty good shape. Greens are really good - rolled at a solid 10 and the ball went where you hit it. A good mid tier course with some interesting holes - not my favorite place to play but don't mind hitting it around there. I prefer Palmetto, several in our group did not agree with me - and it's OK for them to be wrong. Nice group at the counter and bag drop. Decent range and large putting green.
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
Great pictures.
I've only played Palmetto.
Pinehills looks much more interesting.
Thanks for the scoop .

I have not played Pine Hills since the first or second year it was open, but I certainly agree with your assessment of the course. Thanks for the report.
Good pics of the Pine Hills course, played once several years ago, the doglegs are not for me, like Palmetto a bit more, thanks for posting your thoughts.
Good pics of this course. Palmetto or Pinehills are on my list each year.
''It's just golf, let's have fun''
Both MW courses have new greens, Palmetto new bunkers.
Palmetto has more housing, #18 is on the waterway, longer than Pine Hills.
White on Pine Hills is like Gold on Palmetto.
Pine Hills has almost no housing, shorter and has interesting green complexes
on the back 9.

Thanks UGP!
I do also prefer Palmetto over Pine Hills, but both courses do normally not disappoint!
