Early stages of planning for our late spring trip - plan on travelling south for 2 rounds. We have two free rounds at Caledonia so that is set - we have already played Pawley's, Tradition and True Blue in the past. What's our next "must play" in the Pawleys/Murrells area. We've been told Willbrook but looking for input from everyone. Thanks.
Willbrook is excellent. Tradition & River Club are also very nice. I haven't played Heritage yet but that will probably get the most votes. I would say you'll be satisfied with any of those. If you'd like an older course but still a nice place and a good value, Litchfield is fine.
Since you say "traveling south for 2 rounds", you can save some driving by playing
TPC.
Next must plays in Pawleys after what you listed are: Heritage + Willbrook.

I am in agreement with masses, TPC then Heritage and Willbrook are all good ones.
Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
Agree with everyone else. TPC then Heritage.
What everyone is saying, Heritage, Tradition, River Club, and Willbrook all nice tracks.
I would vote for Heritage hands down.
Brownwood Bandit
Heritage then Willbrook for me.

"King Of The Mid-tiers"
Definitely Heritage
Playing TPC & Willbrook next month will let you know about the conditions. Personally I would take these two over Heritage. Heritage kicks my butt.
Nothin Could be Finer !!!!!!
TPC and Heritage for sure!

Heritage, Willbrook, True Blue, Caledonia, Tradition and River Club. In this order IMHO.
Heritage, TPC, Founders
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
Heritage, TPC, and Prestwick. That latter course is only about 25 minutes north of the first two and well worth the drive.
