Monday I played Lockwood Folly. I had played it a year ago and did not have high expectations as it was in poor shape back then. I was pleasantly surprised from the minute I got there. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Range balls looked like new. Greens were in very good shape and rolled around a 10. Tee boxes and fairways were well maintained. The only complaint was the bunkers that were quite firm with very little sand. I know this is a long drive but it is a fun course with some great views.

Thanks for the report.  This is one of the few MB area courses I have not played.

It's good to know about when tee times are hard to get.

They have improved in recent years, with a new clubhouse.

Thanks,

Thanks for report on LF, it is a decent enough course with good prices, worth the drive to check it off your MB to play list.
