Anyone play Heritage recently? Was there about 6 weeks ago and the fairways were extremely thin. Was told by an employee that they didn’t overseed their fairways this winter. Hoping they have grown in some. Thanks.

It's odd for a popular busy course like Heritage not to overseed the fairways.
You are the first I have seen to post that.
The bermuda is just starting to grown again around this time, so probably not
much different yet.

Are you headed back to Heritage?

We have played Heritage 3 times this winter, 1st time was in mid January, course was good and as you said the fairways were on the thin side.  In Feb and March we had better fairway conditions and the greens were a lot smoother.  Only real downside were the bunkers, unraked, many foot prints, we lifted and placed if we hit a ball into one.  Rakes non existent on few traps as well or just one usually by a larger bunker.  Overall though I would not hesitate to head back as the course itself is a good.

Not raking traps seems like a widespread problem in Myrtle Beach. When I was there a few weeks ago, every course I played (except The Reserve) had footprints all throughout the traps. Sometimes the footprints entered and exited the bunkers right next to a rake.

@artmbgolf decided today to skip it for now. Will be back again in the future.
