I really enjoy this layout and the strategy that goes into getting around the course. Tee boxes and fairways were in very good shape. Greens were in great shape. Grain heavily influences speed. Pace of play was great at 4 hours. Beautiful vistas overlooking the inter-coastal canal. A real gem of a course.
Sounds good, thanks!
I played it last year and will again this year. The new greens a few years ago
have made it better than ever.

The holes near the intercoastal are beautiful. I played Glen Dornoch during the last spring with two friends. I will not miss this opportunity again this year. Great to know that the course offers very good conditions.

Thanks for the update on a course that is on my list to play!
Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
One of my favorites to play every year. There were so many rumors in the past about this course being sold and turning into some type of development. I was very worried when I first heard that. Hopefully , that won’t happen at all, as I think that this is one of the top ten courses in the Myrtle area
Have driven in and looked around, course looks very nice and players who I chatted with all raved on the conditions. Thanks for your report.
Excellent to hear!
I played this course twice and really like the peaceful setting
"King Of The Mid-tiers"
Never been a big fan of Dornach - never been in very good condition. 16 is a terrible golf hole - one of the worst in MB, or anywhere for that matter.
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
@undercover-golf-pro There are some holes I like out there, but it's never been my favorite course. And yes, 16 is an absolutely terrible hole. Just awful design.
9 isn't too good either.
