Played Eagles Nest yesterday.  Great course for the price.  Good conditions aside from a few fairways they are doing work on but once that is finished it will just add to the quality of the course.  Staff was very courteous. No beverage cart so stock up before you go out and again at the turn.  The thing that I like about this course is the mixture of both easier and more challenging holes.  The carts now have GPS which is always a plus.

Thanks for the report.  Have never played Eagles Nest due to many bad conditioning reports.  By the way, heading to MB tomorrow!!

Brought my straw Eagle Nest hat with me, but doubt I'll play it this trip.

Thanks for reporting Wolfpack. I thought maybe you left town.

Nope still here JW just starting to get the time to finally play more regularly. My time has been tied up trying to build a business from it's infant stage.  As far as golfers coming on a trip in the very near future I would definitely say delay Eagles Nest for a trip down the road after they get their fairways taken care of. But it's good enough for local play and very affordable with the "North Myrtle Beach Golf Pass" that is a great card that pays for itself if you play twice. The card combines Eagles Nest, Azalea and Beachwood.  With the card all three courses are priced about the same and out of the three Eagles Nest is the no brainer as far as quality golf goes. I do play Azalea quite a bit for the convenience and a few events lately like Swing for the Kids. I will say that the Azalea staff is awesome and I would LOVE to be able to move their clubhouse to Eagles Nest.  Sometimes I actually just stop in for a good lunch even when I'm not playing that day.

I have a very big closing coming up in a couple of weeks and am considering a round at Caledonia to celebrate if I can catch a bit of a deal on an afternoon round during prime golf season. lol Kind of excited as I have never played Caledonia. We will see what happens

Thanks @wolfpackguy!

I played the course only once with my wife and both her and I did appreciate our golf experience there!

Glad you did also appreciate!

@DenisGilbert  any signs of the borders opening soon for you to get down here for some golf?

@wolfpackguy We should know about that issue around October 21! In the meantime, we're trying to stay optimistic! 😉

Thanks for inquiring!

Hopefully soon my man!  We miss our neighbors from the north here in Myrtle.

Good to see a report on Eagle Nest, thank you. It was on our rotation for the first time in April 2020 but we didn't get there. I am cautiously hopeful us Canadians will be there in spring 2022.

@wolfpackguy Where can I find info about the "North Myrtle Beach Golf Pass" ?  Sounds very interesting.

Thanks!

@Canuck Any of those three courses, Eagles Nest Azalea or Beachwood can help you on that.  It's $49 a year, but when you purchase it your first round is free. I think the rack rates at Eagle's Nest right now are between $40-$60 depending the time of day you play so it's really a no brainer if you plan to play more than once.  You also get 20% off of merchandise.  You do have to be either a resident or property owner in the area to become a member.
