Is there a definitive list of courses that have Gator opportunities?

A ranking of most likely to see them would be a great benefit.

Now that the Witch is no more I need my gator time.

The biggest gator I've seen in MB was at Thistle.

I think the Brunswick County courses (as well as Murrells Inlet/Pawleys Island) are generally more likely to have gators than ones in Myrtle Beach. Pretty common to see them at the Thistle, and I saw a massive one the last time I was at the Pearl. I can't remember the last time I saw one on a course in Myrtle.

Oyster Bay usually has the most.
Heritage sometimes has a lot.
The Dunes #13 is a good spot.
Rivers Edge around lake behind #11.

Courses where I see a couple here and there are:
TPC, TB, Caledonia, Willbrook, Thistle.

Some days lots are out and some sunny days they are not out.

Add all 3 at Sea Trail and Arcadian Shores, plus a good sized one at Aberdeen.

Barefoot Love, the large lake to the right of holes 3 and 4.  I was told last summer that there was a big one in there but personally I didn't see it.

Agree with Art about the Dunes #13.  A friend of mind played The Dunes last year and they decided to not play #13 due to the number of gators sunning themselves in the fairway and right rough.

I never see the gators in the fairway. They like to be at the edge of the water, so
they can jump in.  There are some nice days when they are not out.

There is a saying we have down here in SC, "If there's water, there's gators."  So, every course down here as 'em.

Willbrook #3 on Thursday (3/30.)  If you look close, you'll see somebody left their golf ball next to it.

As others have said we’ve always seen them on the 13th at The Dunes on the right of the fairway next to the lake after you’ve played across the water. Can be up to a dozen there.

TPC is another that has a huge gator that seems to live around the two big ponds next the the second and eleventh tees. He’s usually sunning himself on the bank of one of those tees.

The Pearl had a gator living in the pond behind the clubhouse for a few years. The chef used to feed him to keep him around.

More on the course too.

The most gators I have ever seen was at the Witch(now closed). Counted about a dozen on one hole. The biggest gator was at TPC MB on hole 17. He was a a big grandaddy laying on the bank. Huge.  Saw a bunch at Heritage in the lake and they like to lay beside the tee box on 18. If there is water, they are there. Arcadian used to have a big boy, but the one at TPC was bigger.
