We haven't played there since Wild Wings closed and haven't seen any trip reports.
Is it a mid-tier course or better?
There have been some reports on Wild Wing and usually good.
I didn't play it for a couple years, but I feel it's better than ever.
You could call it upper mid tier.

I haven’t played it for two years, but it was upper mid to upper.

Do totally agree with @artmbgolf and @2manyputters (upper mid tier)!

I played it twice over the summer. It was in very good shape back then. I would assume it's still in good shape now.
Played there probably 10 times this year - they've done a great job - conditioning has been well above average.

It's not quite an upper tier but it is better than a mid-tier in my opinion. From a playability/enjoyability standpoint, I like it more than most courses in MB. Conditions have been excellent the three or four times I've played it over the past couple years.
I play Avocet on a semi regular basis - it's been in great condition, especially the greens. Tough 3 finishing holes

Played it about three years ago and agree with others that it is a very solid upper-mid course. I remember the clubhouse being an odd design.
