Meadowlands- Immaculate from tee to green, rough penial as ball sinks down and tough to go forward. greens quick and rolling true. getting a lot of play due to the conditions

Eagles Nest - course in overall good condition and they are putting some money into it and also rebuilding the driving range and have added drainage on various holes, greens medium speed as they just sanded them.

Beachwood - Never played here before, as was quite surprised. Also they are putting some money into it and improvements. course overall good shape except the tee boxes(totally rebuilding a few )and was adding sand to the bunkers.

River Hills - new greens ( can definitely see the size changes on most)were a bit slow and bumpy when I played and some spots a little thin, they are sanding them and only needs to be rolled and cut a few times. was surprised as the bunkers were not worked on and most were full of water. this should have been taken care of when they were closed for the summer

Thanks for reporting.  We played Meadowlands the first week in October last year and the rough was as penal as you said.  Scheduled there again in less than two weeks.  Consistently good conditions.

Are you saying the bunkers at River Hills don't look upgraded as advertised?

Meadowlands might be putting some pressure on other courses to compete on
conditions.

Thanks for your updates!

@artmbgolf  Update on Riverhills played today 9/27  Bunkers have had work and sand added since I played it 2 weeks ago. greens were still bumpy and slow, but with rain coming and another sanding should be fine for new greens. they are keeping them high and slow to fill in better even thou they putted true. You will definitely notice the increase in size of the greens compared to old
