The new Forum looks great.. and it looks like I might be the first poster in the "courses" forum so I will bring up my favorite subject of mid-tier golf courses.
Most people know about the Great top-tier Myrtle Beach area courses ,but a lot of people want to know about the best of the rest.
What are YOUR favorites ?

"King Of The Mid-tiers"
Man o War Possum Trot
Farmstead, Prestwick, Wild Wing, Thistle, Arrowhead.
Arcadian Shores, Farmstead, Tradition are all accommodating.
One of my favorite courses in 2002 was Tigers Eye back then it was in great shape just wishing it was back to those conditions. I feel anyone can play this course and enjoy.
Brownwood Bandit
Farmstead, River Hills, Carolina National, Panthers Run
After reviewing all the choices...
I've realized I have not played...
POSSUM TROT
TRADITION
MAN O WAR
MW PINEHILLS
and the back 9 of MEADOWLANDS
I played ST-JONES, but don't remember much of it.
Looks like I got my work cut out for me if I want to retain the Title of KING OF THE MID-TIERS.
Thanks for the replies and keep em coming.

Arrowhead - if it is considered mid tier - I think so compared to the big courses.
Arrowhead charges like a mid tier but it’s a tier two course. Great layout and always in good condition
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
I would also agree with Arrowhead, great layout.
Arrowhead should be considered a little step above being categorized "mid tier"!

Lots of good ones; Sea Trails, Pearls, Arrowhead, MB Nationals are some of my favorite since they are more than 18 for good replay choice.
