Someone said there’s a lot of construction at the Legends. Anyone have any info as to what’s they’re doing?
Last spring I saw clearing work left of Moorland #10 + #11.
Then someone said that is housing.
It also has been reported new cart paths, but I don't know
which course is done.
Whatever they are doing, they would not want to affect the courses
in peak season.

New South Korean owners are active .... wonder when they'll start to hotel behind #1 tee on Parkland.
Yes to homes/condos on Pakrland and Moorland.

Are you saying that Legends has new owners? I didn't see any article.
Any other changes others than housing?
Are they saying a hotel?
Will they have more interest in Oyster Bay?

I just got back from staying 5 days at the Legends. Heard a lot of construction noise while playing Parkland on Friday morning. Didn't really see much and it in no way took away from 5 days of a great golf trip.
I played at Heathland last week with a Legends member, he said new condos are going up behind the Pub area by Parkland, a row of new condos are up by the 10th fairway of Moorland. Lots of new housing on the properties bordering the Legends grounds too.

Yes Arnold Palmer Golf Managenet sold Legends to a South Korean ownership group about a 10 month to a year ago. They retained APM as their Golf Management company.
Yes Art they will be building a high end boutique hotel before #1 tee on Parkland.
The Vereen family owns Oyster Bay, Legends has the lease/management contract.
The driving range will be altered and a short par 3 course will be installed.
The Young family that used to own Legends, they parcelled out a ton of little peice of land before they lost the property. Like ther IYng family farm to the right of the security gate, 17 on Moorland, the maintenance building, land behind Parkland that is being developed, land around Heathland. Larry Young was a ruthless and savy business man. That Golf Trust of America --- that was a doozie!
