Nice take on the course you played, thanks.
The greens seem to always be good there.
Thanks for the update

Greens: Very fast
Fairways: A little wet, but good. Fairways were green
Rough: Very green and fairly lush
CPO: No
People I played with: Good
Notes: Noticed no trash containers at tee box
Beverage cart no hard liquor
Some greens had bunkers that were being rebuilt

Breakfast: Southern House of Pancakes, was solid
Dinner: Hooters was decent
Overall Day Rating: 9.5
Tomorrow: Nothing as next 2 days bad weather, freezing rain and they are covering the greens

Sounds like MOW overseeded wall to wall again, which includes the rough.
If correct and you like that, play Wizard also.
Thanks!

It is nice to read trip reports in the middle of winter! Right now I have 13" of snow covering my yard. Thanks for taking the time to make us feel a little better.

Just too cold for to play golf this week. I admire all those playing under these conditions. Hoping that the weather will be more on your side next week.
Thanks for your two reports, it is a very good start.

Mike, looking forward to all the reports. When you say the greens are Fast, what does that mean to you? I find most greens in Myrtle to be slower than my home course. Average speed at my home course it 11 to 12. They will get them to 13 (that's FAST). They were 9 on Monday because they had not been rolled in a few days, that was SLOW!
@kio57 One mans fast is another mans slow. For the first 7 holes I was consistantly 6 to 8 feet past the pin. Maybe the seemed fast because I have not played outside since the end of November. Adjusted though and ended up with 33 putts, which was my average last year.
@s333h However, since you have prepaid for your round and they give you rain checks when you can't play, weather standards are lowered.
Day 5
Course: Caledonia
Notes: Didn't play as it was 21 degrees at 7 am and had an 8 am tee time
2nd round.
Course: True Blue (Not first time playing)
Greens: Slowest so far, had difficulty putting consistently
Fairways: Wet, decent. Fairways were some what green
Rough: Not overseeded
CPO: Yes
People I played with: Was not paired up with anybody
Notes: No beverage cart and once you tee off you never get back to the pro shop
POP: 4 hours even though I waited on nearly every hole
Lunch: TGI Fridays, was OK
Dinner: Hooters was decent
Overall Day Rating: 5
Tomorrow: Litchfield Country Club (First time playing)
Thanks for reading.
Day 6
Course: Litchfield Country Club (First time playing)
Greens: Good, reasonably fast
Fairways: Decent Fairways were some what green
Rough: Not overseeded
CPO: No
People I played with: Little cold at first, but warmed up
Notes: No beverage cart
Course is very narrow, doesn't really fit my game
POP: 3.75 hours even though we waited on nearly every hole
Breakfast: Waffle House. Was good for the money
Dinner: Hard Rock. First time I have ever been to Broadway on the Beach. Will definitely go back
Overall Day Rating: 7.5

I am enjoying reading your reports. Keep up the good work.
Enjoying your reports very much. I also played as a single in MB one year and I too found that after a couple of holes everyone relaxed and ended up enjoying each others company. I haven't played Litchfield and not a course that is talked about much so it was good to have your opinion on it. Thanks for posting the reports.
Thanks for posting Mike.
I enjoyed Litchfield the one time I golfed it.
