We all know how it feels to start a round 5 over after 6 holes, especially when a couple really bad breaks.
To put that opening behind you & continue to grind away at making pars & finish strong is hard enough for us weekend warriors, just imagine how hard it would be on Sunday of a US Open with millions of people watching you.
There's a lesson to be learned here.

It seemed like the pressure to hit fairways had more drives in the rough.
Rough that long and bunkers that deep resulted in too many chip outs or lay ups.
Augusta, TPC Sawgrass, MB Classic and others were a lot more interesting courses to watch for me.
