Got a tweet saying Little River got hit hard..
And, I heard there was no evacuation for this storm.
If any locals that have storm info, post here please.
Thanks jw11

I'm 5 miles north of Little River - got 3 inches of rain and a few limbs down. Never saw the wind since it came around 1 am. Obviously the "experts" didn't expect the storm to be big as they never called for evacuation

Live in Little River it’s a beautiful morning here today. 3 to 5 inches of rain highest wind gust I saw on the news was 53 mph. Cherry Grove on the other hand got pounded. The intersection at Rt 9 and Duffy St looked like a River. Part of the newer pier was washed out.
@jw11 there’s two piers in Cherry Grove. The old one is on 35th ave. The newer one is farther north on @ 60th ave N. A section of the new pier was washed away.
Dang
Thanks for the picture Metric.

Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
Glad most of the trouble missed.
Hope that everyone is OK. I imagine that Aberdeen will be flooded again.
Arcadian Shores area escaped the brunt of it. Just heavy rain/winds but no flooding from what I've seen. South of us may have some issues and I can't speak to southern NC.
I imagine that Aberdeen will be flooded again.
At this time Aberdeen is not flooded - might be an issue in a few days as the water comes down from the north, but probably not
