Hello there.  I've been vacationing in Pawleys for 21 years and I've come to love the South so much so that I would love to work in the golf industry as a caddy or as a person who helps members or the resort in any way possible.  I'm 53 now and will retire from teaching in 1 or 2 years.  This February vacation I'll be scouting between those areas so any input would be helpful regarding courses or resorts.  In no way am I looking for a cozy easy job for golf playing privileges.  FYI I was a caddy in HS and in college as well as presently at a private course in Massachusetts.  Lastly, I won't discount the MB area but I don't know if they have the market I'm looking for.  Thank you, John.

I believe the Currahee Club (Toccoa GA) and the Cliffs courses (7 courses in update SC and western NC) have caddy programs. At Currahee you could end up caddying for Glavine and Smoltz.
