Sometimes life sucks. Won't be making a trip to the beach this year. One of the Chuckleheads is down with bad knees, bone on bone, which would make playing multiple days in a row unlikely.
A team meeting was held & the decision made to forgo the beach this year in favor of multiple short trips (long weekends) closer to home.
It sucks, but it is what it is. Looking forward to exploring some new locations this summer. First destination will likely be in Missouri...either Lake of the Ozarks or Branson area.

I'll miss your reports. Our group thru Covid plus heart and cancer surgeries, plus back problems has missed the last 4 trips. We keep saying this November altho a couple of them tried Ocean City, Maryland last fall and liked it.
Sorry to hear.
I imagine Thee Dollhouse will be laying off a half dozen girls or so with the expected downturn in business due to your non-visit this season.
What a sad situation @skippy! 🙁
Let's hope for a better situation for 2024!
Take care and hope the injured Larry will get better soon!

Skippy, have your buddy ask his doctor about SynthVisc......i have a torn meniscus, my ortho doc injected this stuff, its an artificial meniscus , stop gap until surgery is needed, worked great for me, no more clicking or locking up, its been 2+ yrs so far. I know someone else that had same done, he is at 5+ yrs now
Is that's what's referred to as the "Chicken shot"? He has one of those next week. It's a prerequisite with Medicare to get them to approve the real good shot. I'll pass it along.

Hoping for a fast recovery. I will miss your reports from there.
''It's just golf, let's have fun''
Sorry to hear that Skippy - as you know your report was always a sign for my group that our MB trip was imminent.
We’ve gone back to our end of April dates for MB this year so arrive on the 20th. Still hoping we’ll be able to catch up for a beer if our trips manage to overlap again.
