Apologies. I didn't find a thread about this already discussed.
Just one nominee please. Whatever reasons for your choice would be very welcome.
My own was cemented today-on my third time playing the course. I will refrain from specifics for now, but...
Diamondback!
Mine was Farmstead. Always thought conditions there were as good as any course in MB. Since it will be gone in three days, my new underrated course would be Crow Creek.
I am thinking: River Hills

All depend of what you are meaning by most underrated course. For me, it is when i play a middle tier golf course but have the feeling of to play on a premium course because of the course design, the conditions, the facilities around the course (clubhouse, practice areas, etc), the environment, etc. Same thing when i play a lower tier golf course but it seems to me that it is a middle tier course. All is a question of perception. And the rate charged to the customers by the golf course is a major factor influencing our perception.
For to respond to your question, i would go with the new Arcadian Shores. By new, i mean that the renovations done on this course in the recent years (clubhouse, bunkers, greens) has contributed to raise the quality level of this course. And the course design is one of the best in Myrtle Beach. The rate charged is correct.

I'll go with River Hills, always in good to very good shape during the time I am down, a bargain at the price also.
Thanks for the replies so far. Please keep 'em coming.
Another vote for River Hills as far as I'm concerned! 😉

@jay Agreed.
I think most or all of my favorite courses in the area are ones that aren't underrated (Rivers Edge, Caledonia, Tidewater, etc.) and I'm not a fan of some of the ones already listed in this thread.
PineHills is quite good, though. It's a much better golf course than Palmetto and yet they charge less for it.
Burning Ridge
I always thought the two Pearls were underrated. Good value for us and interesting layouts. Not sure what it's like now after the changes though.
In the south end I'd say Tradition flies under the radar a little bit.
My course would be Tigers Eye the first time I played in 2000.
Brownwood Bandit
