If you're feeling nostalgic about playing golf in Myrtle Beach this winter, I recommend checking out the videos from Parker Plays Golf on YouTube. Parker is a good golfer, and in his videos, you can follow him as he plays every hole on a golf course in Myrtle Beach. In just about twenty minutes, you can revisit the courses you may have played before. It will no doubt bring back some very good memories. And above all, it helps chase away the winter blues for a while. Here's the link if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrP_l6vGb-Q (For context, the linked video is from the "Parker Plays Golf" channel — it's a shot-by-shot round on the front 9 at Whispering Pines in Myrtle Beach, part of his series covering courses there.)

I have been watching Parker, he is fun to watch and can be funny at time. Looks like he would be fun to play around with in MB.

I also like watching Parker's videos.  Brings back memories of trips to MB with the golf buddies from here in ND.  I wish he would put the date he played the course so that I could see the how the conditions were at the time of year.  I have been to MB only in Feb and March in years past and this would help me observe what it is like at other times of the year vs when I have been there.  Keep up the good and informative work Parker.  And thanks to all others who continue to post course reports to this site.

I have seen some of his videos.  Recently I saw his MB course rankings by tier.
I posted a comment about a few changes. No matter who ranks MB courses,
either 5 or 10 tiers, there will be courses that seem not good enough for a
certain tier, but too good for the next lower tier.
That is why I prefer 10 tiers over 5.

That Whispering Pines video says posted July 2025, but it was under
renovation then.  He should have waited for renovation.
Also it didn't make sense using winter condition fly overs to show holes.
I think possibly he plays a number of courses, but then has to take time
to edit them.

He has  2.38K subscribers  and I see commercials, so he is making some $$.
I don't know the rules, but at some number of subscribers, YouTubers,
Tiktok, etc, can get paid for ads and per view.  Some can make a lot of $.

Parker has other videos on hardest holes, easiest, etc.
He is fairly accurate on them.   I should have got that idea years ago.
His videos and ratings are good to help new people plan MB golf trips.

I completely agree—his videos are genuinely helpful for anyone planning a golf trip to Myrtle Beach. His course reviews and evaluations are also spot-on most of the time.

@pistol1putt

That's a great point, and I think a lot of folks from up north (especially ND crews) feel the same way—Parker's videos really do a nice job capturing the vibe of those Myrtle Beach golf trips and bringing back all those fun memories with the buddies.Adding play dates to the videos (or at least in the descriptions) would be super helpful for comparing conditions across seasons. February and March can be pretty different from, say, May/June or fall, with stuff like grass growth, wind, temperature, and even how busy the courses get. Seeing exactly when he filmed would make it easier to gauge what to expect if you're thinking about switching up your usual early-year timing.
