Played there this past weekend. Wall to wall overseed and green. Course was in really good shape and greens were really nice, green, and rolling smoothly. Would recommend it as it is great shape.

Does the overseeded rough have much height or thickness?
Is it thinner in the rough, mostly for color?
They aren't trying to make it tougher, just look green.

Thanks!

The rought is not that thick. Mostly for color but the ball will set up, not deep rough.  It looks very nice and the greens are very, very good there right now. Also, most of the bunkers have new sand, that is fluffy and deep sand. The course is in very, very good condition.

Always considered this course boring.....most holes straight away with little deviation.  I did win a $190 skin here last year on a golf trip - eagled #9 out of the greenside bunker.

Really? There are 4 or 5 dog legs. Par 5 with shot over water. Par 4 with a shot over water. 2 Par 3 with a shot over water. 3 or 4 holes with waste bunkers lining the fairway. Another par 5 with a waste area to carry on the second shot. I never thought of it as pedestrian or boring course.

Not my favorite layout but enjoy it every time I play there.

Tried the Maverick head to head on the simulator vs my Ping G410. No difference in distance. My driver was straighter.

I liked the feel and ball flight of the Maverick - can't tell on the range about distance. Happy with my G410, don't see me switching at this time either.

A lot of marketing is behind the Maverick. Today, simulators can help us to select what is best for us. Still have my TM M2 2017 driver. Never found a better driver.

Played Tradition today and it exceeded my expectations. Greens rolled really smooth, wall-to-wall overseeding was nice. Bunkers good shape. Great practice facility as well as pace of play. Only 3 holes CPO despite rain last night, got a fair amount of roll as well with zero mud balls. Surprisingly it's in at least as good of shape as Barefoot (and I thought the greens were even better). Highly recommend.
