Check in: Smoothly run. Nice gentlemen got us loaded up and gave us the 411 on the setup.
Tees: Good shape overseeded. Some bare spots in places.
Fairways: Lush and fully grown in overseed. Stripes cut give them that extra special touch.
Bunkers: Good sand and consistency from hole to hole.
Greens: Really nice! Non overseeded so they were decently quick. Receptive to good shots.
Pace of play: Just a smidge over 4 hours. Played the front 9 in under 2 but bogged a bit on the back.
Overall: Wow! What a great experience. I have been a golf course snob in the past and haven’t considered meadowlands, but based on a report here recently, we gave it a shot.
For the price this course is hard to beat.
Good to read you enjoyed Meadowlands, it has been in nice condition all winter long, thanks again for your report.
Sounds like ML is getting the care that Farmstead had.

Tees, greens, fairways and bunkers in great shape. Fairways wet but not soaked, very little roll. Greens were fast despite the rain. Very nice golf course. One i probably would not have considered if not for all the positive feedback on this forum.
Our group played Meadowlands on 04/11. The course was very busy as the weather was absolutely beautiful. Conditions remain really good here; lush overseeded tees & fairways. The greens run true, no patchy spots, just good surfaces. The only knock I have with the course is the bunkers... the sand is very fine, fluffy, kind of like beach sand, difficult to get a good thump out of this condition, and a buried lie is not uncommon. Lots of good holes here; I love #9 & #18, both are par 5's. Courteous staff always at Meadowlands.
