Thanks for those beautiful pics @jkh75.

Your spring season is way more advanced than mine up north! 😉

Looks like GTS is ready to post a flyover on Play Golf MB.

A friend has told me about an old tee on Heritage #9, that was out in the
marsh making it a nearly straight hole between some trees, like a goal post.
it was only used in the first year or two.

Have you ever seen or heard about that?   It sounds like a interesting shot,
but maybe it was a slow play problem or something.

@artmbgolf it is true all of it!

It was abandoned early on because of POP issues.

We cleared the trees in ricefield a few years ago to restore the tee shot corridor. There is not turf on tee site but a mat or just a tee in the dirt brings it back. Some members and employees still go back there to tee it up. It is an easier tee shot and hole from back there.

@jkh75
Thanks for the Heritage old #9 tee photos.  Maybe the design was thought
of as a driveable par 4.   It would be hard to tell if drives were in play, so
many provisionals would be needed there.

I found this, but after all these years, there is no sign of where the tee was.

@artmbgolf it is drivable if you have a 300 yard tee ball in your bag.
