After a hard rain this morning ( 1 inch) Grande Dunes was the course to play. Wet but very playable - in really good shape. greens were a little slower than normal but putted well. They had a decent amount booked before the rain - still quite a few golfers came out after the rain stopped.

Please stay open!

Always been one of my favorite courses and not just for consistently good conditions.  Their customer service is top-notch.  They make you feel like your business is appreciated.

If not forced to close courses, looks like the most popular FGI courses will
stay open.

Thanks UGP!

What a great golf facility!

That said, read earlier today that Burning Ridge, Willbrook Plantation, World Tour, River Club and the Avocet and Hummingbird courses at Wild Wing will close (on a temporary basis) from March 26 till April 12.

Looks like they want to keep their courses busy by limiting the number of available tee times. Can't blame them

Our group loves Grande Dunes.... wide fairways and huge greens....always in decent shape!!  For us we just think it's a fun course to play especially after we sometimes get beat up on others {True Blue/Tidewater/Dunes} 🙂

I just booked our October trip yesterday... hopefully things will be back to normal by then!! We have scheduled Grande Dunes for our final round...probably around our 12th time playing here.

@undercover-golf-pro

I sent out my usual email to all my guys notifying them i was booking the trip. I got no replies saying anyone was out for the trip so i believe i have 16 guys. I also have 1 buddy from Virginia who plans on coming down and playing 3 or 4 rounds with us... not sure if he is planning on coming down early in our trip or towards the end... still waiting for his decision.

So with that being said.... we have 5 tee times booked....so i think we could squeeze you in....possibly on some other days as well. I have a few guys here in Canada who are also talking about flying down and playing 3 or 4 rounds but i have heard this from them before!!  🙂

Once i get everything figured out... i will let you know and you can figure out which days you would like to play!!  🙂

I would make room to play with UGP and bring him some whiskey as a present. He is worth it. He is a great person along with a great golfer.
