I have played it several times before but always from the white tees. Quite a difference playing from the gold tees. No matter what tees you play # 16 is challenging.
Glen Dornoch was going to be a RV Park a Walmart a Walmart market district a KOA........... thank goodness it’s still a golf course.
Walmart has $$$, but the RV + KOA probably would not pay what the owner would
want for the Glen Dornoch property.
Anyone know how much longer the Glen Dornoch lease is?
It must be a good number of years, for GD to invest in the long overdue new greens.

Thanks for the report!
It has been a relatively long time since we read something about that course, but I'm pleased to know that Glen Dornoch can still offer a great golf challenge.

I don't ever recall reading anything about Glen Dornach closing. Nice to have people in the know on this forum
Never heard that about GD - and I've been playing there for years. Always a fun, but tough layout. Would hate to see it go the way of heather glen.

there was definitely a rumor that glen dornoch could possibly close. it was the reason i ran out to play it-maybe late 2016/early 2017. the day i played it, the conditioning was as poor as any mb course ive encountered and i assumed that signaled its imminent demise.
have not played it since. dont know if theres a stretch of difficult/quirky/unique holes that rivals 16-18.
