Short and sweet -- No worries if you have Farmstead on your up coming trip  course is in great shape and the rough is just starting to green. Fairways and greens thick and green. greens maybe a little slower than normal (fast) but rolled true and lush

I would recommend to everyone that if you have not yet played Farmstead to add it to your list, never once has is disappointed, conditions have always been top shelf.

I think it gets plenty of love. I've never seen a bad report.

The only negative IMO is playing there on a hot , sunny day is tough, because there are not many trees, thus no shade.

Love the par 6 hole ..tee off in SC.. putt in NC... or did I get that backwards?

FYI  Farmstead opened in 2001, at the end of the MB new course boom.
If was the first new course to open with the new style hybrid bermuda
greens, Tifeagle.

True Blue renovated to Tifeagle in 2000.

The new MB course boom of the 1990's was mostly Bent greens, especially
on the premium courses, with a few using the older Tifdwarf bermuda.

Farmstead has never let us down and has often been the best conditions of the week we play.
