Hi,
Eight of us are coming down to play 9/9 - 9/14. I'm wondering what's the latest feedback on the course conditions for the courses we're playing:

Sea Trail Byrd
The Pearl East/West
Leopard Chase
Tidewater

Some of us have played these courses before, except for ST-Byrd.

I know Byrd just completed a major renovation so I'm thinking/hoping if it's ever going to be in good shape, it would be now.
Tidewater has always been good and I know they've been doing some renovation also.

The Pearl and Leopard Chase I'm more concerned with. In the past, the "Cat" courses have had some issues. We might also play a scramble on Pearl North so interested in any feedback on that.

I'll file a trip report after our trip.

Thanks for any "local knowledge" you can share.

     Pete

ST Byrd got a good report in the recent WA report.
It's less special than your other courses, so it's good you have it first.
They don't have a range now.

New bunkers at TW are done.

While we don't have as many trip reports as in the past, I have heard that
The Pearl + LC are good.  The other 3 Cats courses don't usually get good reports
these days.

Pearl is 3 nines now.    If you are playing West/East, that 18 has the most marsh
holes, with lots of par 3's + 5's.    North is less scenic, but maintained the same.

Tidewater was in fantastic condition in July. Haven't played the Pearl this year but it's been very good when I played the past couple of years and I haven't heard that it's gone downhill.

Leopard's Chase was mediocre in June and I would personally avoid in favor of other places. It's certainly better than the other three Big Cats courses, but it was in the worst shape of any of the courses I've played in the MB area this year.
