My group is coming down in March of 2026, we are playing Heritage and TrueBlue we are looking for a 3rd course. I am leaning towards Pawleys Plantation or Prestwick am I missing anymore on the southern end of the strand that are a must play?

Many possibilities in this sector but Prestwick is a very good choice. Why not Caledonia, near of True Blue?

Do those courses mean you are staying around Litchfield or Pawleys?

Besides the Cale suggestion, there is: Willbrook, River Club(no range), TPC.

Prestwick is more of a drive from Pawleys, but would fit good if heading to the
airport after Prestwick.

Pawleys was renovated 2 years ago, with new greens + bunkers.
It is known for a unique scenic marsh bridge with tees on it, to hit over the marsh to the
par 3's #13 + #17.

@artmbgolf

As you know Art, this course is often praised as one of the most picturesque and photographed courses in the Myrtle Beach area. His back nine is memorable. I think it is probably the ideal course for those seeking a scenic round, but also a challenging one.

Caledonia is a much, much better golf course than Pawleys Plantation or Prestwick (not that either of those courses are bad). I personally think Pawleys Plantation is better than Prestwick (it's also more scenic, although that's just a bonus), but Prestwick is solid.
