Many golfers change their grips presently for to be ready at the beginning of the new season. Just wondering what is your preferred golf grip on the market. Which model. After looking what is available on the market, i choosed for my irons the Golf Pride CP2 Pro, standard. This grip has an exclusive Control Core technology that reduces torque by 41% compared to a grip without a core. She has a soft rubber with a detailed texture providing both comfort and traction.

Golf Pride MCC +4's are my go to. They stand up well during summer heat and 36 hole days. Been playing them for a while now.

Winn Dri-Tac Midsize for me. Larger grip helps me keep a lighter grip on the club. Never lose grip when my hands start sweating (which is as soon as the temp gets above freezing).

Golf Pride Tour Wrap Jumbo.  I have arthritis in my fingers and these grips make it easier to hold on to the club.

I would be curious to know how many golfers choose for a midsize grip. I tried this size one year but my hands are not enough large to hold them confortably.

It's all about comfort. I don't have particularly large hands, either, but I'm even comfortable with oversize grips vs. midsize. I just felt like I had too much trouble drawing the ball with the oversize grips.

Confort is the key word. It is like for the golf shoes. I tried many Golf Pride grips, meaning many different models. I tried a Golf Pride CP2 Pro last summer on my driver and my fairway woods. Confort was there, and the results- distance and control- were present. Good golf!

Time will say but according to the reviews the CP2 Pro should last longer.

I try a bunch of grips, but keep going back to GP Tour Wrap 2G.

Grip size is supposed to depend on hand size, but that is just a guide.
You can adjust based on trial and error, especially if you regrip yourself,
where you can try 1 grip.

If your wrists are not very active, you can use jumbo, like DeChambeau.
I am wristy, so when I try Midsized or the +4 lower hand, my right hand
takes over and I get too steep on the backswing, hurting my swing. YMMV.

If you regrip yourself, get a guage to help grip at your preferred size.
Steel shafts can have 1 to 3 steps under the grip, making the lower
grip size end up small.  Graphite shafts don't have the steps, so the
same grip will feel bigger.  Some Graphite shafts have bigger butts than
steel, so again the grip will feel bigger.

Most mid + jumbo grips are heavy, which will lower your SW, while
increasing your total weight.   It doesn't matter if you like that feel.

I find that large grips feel good at address and for chipping, but they
may make it hard to release the club. OK if if you are a hooker, not
so good if you slice or lack power.

I'm using either GP MCC +4 or Tour Velvet +4's,  whichever I find on sale,  I like both, prefer the Velvets on irons, MCC on wedges & woods.  Super Stroke Flatso 2.0 on the putter, but have SS pistols on another putter I use.

I've tried Winn, Lamkin, & a couple others, always go back to GP  & SS

Winn Dri-Tac Midsize is my "go to grip", specially for the softness of the rubber, wich makes me feeling more comfortable!

The Winn Dri-Tac seems to be popular. She has some characterictics that i like: a soft tacky, high water resistance and a non-slip tread pattern.

Just wondering Art if these grips- Tour Wrap 2G- are able to stand up to rainy conditions or sweat. I have never used this wrap model of grip. Midsize and jumbo grips are heavier than standard grip and it is one of the reasons why i prefer the standard model. Thanks for the explanation concerning the adjustment of the grip, but until now i have left to a professional the task to regrip my clubs.
