On a top ten day, we ventured out to one of the most beautiful golf courses in America. Caledonia truly is a very special place starting from the drive in to the course itself. I took extra pictures for those of you that have never played there. Last time I played, the conditions weren't very good, today, the course was in terrific shape. Tees and fairways were excellent, roughs need to grow in. Greens were a little slow at 9, which made the slopes on them somewhat easier. There's a couple holes I'm not fond of, but many that are interesting and outstanding. This is not an easy course and will tax your game if your not spot on. I want to thank Quevy for bending down in our pic so I look taller. The shot into the 18th green with the clubhouse behind it is my favorite. The two drawbacks is the that the course can get pricey for MB, and they are often CPO when the rest of MB isn't. Not very busy, we played in 3.5 hours.

Thanks for the great pictures.
The one time I played there I spotted a couple exotic wild cats...yellow in color. Not sure what they were, but the mama cat was pretty big.
Beautiful golf course, but the price is not beautiful.
Long drive to Caladonia from the north side of MB.
Was it crowded there ?

Great pics UGP.
That tree on hole #7 is really getting in the way now.
Thanks!

You have to lay back a decent ways to get over it. I had 129 to the flag which was good

Just land it on my street in front of my house
I woke up this morning to snow flurries, so I really enjoyed looking at these pictures. Thanks UGP.
Thanks for the report and pics. I'd play it more if the budget was bigger because it has always been a great day whenever I've had the opportunity to play it. Probably my MB favourite, an opinion shared by many I would guess
Golf can best be defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle.
