So last year me and 3 golf buddies stayed in Ocean Isle and booked tee times all over the place. It was a great trip but not compared to the year we played Grande Dune resort, Bald Head Island, TPC, and Wild Wing. We did a lot of driving and the courses were fine but we were in Ocean Isle which was pretty far out.
This year we want to have more golf time on great courses and less driving. We’ll be coming in 3/16 - 3/19 or 4/30 -5 removed link So how good is the Barefoot Package with the free round after 3? We stayed in the Barefoot Yacht tower in a 4 bedroom condo a couple years ago and loved it. Its central to everything Restaurants & night life. I know it will cost us more than before and that’s ok, but how does the group feel about those courses (right now we’ll book for all 4 courses, 1 per day) Does anyone else like any other packages that are better but with the same stay and play locations. Just let me know and I promise I’ll post our course reviews promptly this time when we get back.
Thanks again!
All 4 Barefoot courses are premium. Fazio, Love, Dye have turns being liked the
most. Play 3 courses get 1 free in the PM. Use the PM round for a 36 hole day or
just play 1 day in the PM. Since Norman is less popular, consider playing it first.
This will be a lot better lineup than last year and lodging near everything.
Barefoot is the most premium stay and play. Many make up their own stay and
play, by picking a location, then lodging and courses near there. Legends is a
popular stay and play, but not better.
If you stay more days, you are not far from Tidewater, The Dunes, Arcadian,
Shaft, Grande Dunes. If you prefer BF lodging, you can use it in the future
and play courses like this list, with short drives, creating your own stay and
play.

There's no worry to have regarding all the four Barefoot courses for sure, specially if you're coming at the end of April.
And like our friend @Art wrote, you're at a premium place for golf... and for lodging too!
That said, if you need help to book that kind of a package, do not hesitate to contact Brian Noblin (the owner of this website and for sure the best golf packager to do business with) at 1 844 706-7503.
He will make things a lot easier for your group and yourself!
Have a great trip!

Barefoot course are very good courses, you will get top to bottom nice conditions and even the one people say they dont like is always nice.
Let the Big Dawg Bark!!!
Thanks for the replies guys... I showed them to my buddies and they’re stoked, so I’m talking to Brian to get it booked. This forum is great and the best thing I’ve found for planning a trip to Myrtle beach. Oh, and you’ll get my trip report ASAP when we get back this time! Also going to try to book earlier next year with Brian to get the best accommodations.
Your golf buddies will thank you for sure at the time being!
Have fun!

My group always goes to Myrtle the end of April. We have been going for 10 years now and we always changed courses and locations until we went to Barefoot. It is the best play & stay courses in MB. We have been going there for the last 3 years and don't plan on changing. The courses are always in great shape and you don't have to worry about driving. It seems the more you pay, the better the POP is and at BF, it is always good. We play 36 a day so that is pretty important to us.

The only way to go on a golf trip - have fun
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
OK we're confirmed for our dates.... Gotta say that everyone here was right on the money. Dealing with Brian to book everything was great and that's what we'll be doing from now on. We'll be in for the long weekend on 4/30 and will report on our trip ASAP. Thanks again for the help
Chuck, Your 4 rounds at Barefoot will be more upscale than last year.
You won't have to go far for food etc. When playing in the AM, lunch in
the BF clubhouse is good. Replays should not be difficult to get right there
at BF, if you want more golf.

If you are looking for a steak dinner, take a short drive(or Uber) to Thoroughbreds. Never disappoints . They also have seafood. Upscale restaurant that's been there a long time.
Chestnut Hill is another good place for fine dining.
Biminis a great place for casual dining with great fried shrimp/grouper. Inexpensive drinks.
All within a couple miles of Barefoot.
Have a trip.
