Thanks to Brian and his magic, I was able to book 18 holes at Arrowhead and got a free 9 hole replay.

Started on the Lakes course followed by Waterway and finally Cypress.

This course was a TON of fun. Enough danger to challenge anyone but fair enough for most all to enjoy.

Tees, fairways, bunkers, and greens in great shape.

Was a fun day with only 2 issues:

1. Some of the cart paths are rough but that seems to be the norm on all of the courses I’ve played this week.

2. Pace of play was RIDICULOUS today. We had a group of like 26 that were playing with hired young female assistants/caddies. Each group of two had one of these scantily clad ladies with them. Between the chit chat with the ladies and the fact that these were the worst golfers I have ever seen, it took us 5 1/2 hours to play our first 18 and the course didn’t seem to care.

Big groups tend to have some fill in the spots occasional golfers.
I would think AH would ranger better than that, but they might have
let it go if it was a PM round.

Thanks!

Tee time was 11:00. I don’t care what time of day it was. No course should allow a 5 1/2 hour round. Heres an idea, instead of having the guy at the par 3 hole trying to get you to spend more money on a chance to hit the green, have him out actually roaming the course and making groups accountable for slow play.

Always good to play a game at Arrowhead, adding all 27 holes is great.  Tough luck on the slow group with Caddie Girls, thanks for your report.

I agree, it was very slow.  This should not arrive on a golf course. Have you phone to the pro shop? Maybe a marshall would have come. Thanks for the report.

Last Friday my threesome at my home course finished in 3 hours AND 15 minutes. No round of gold should ever take more than 4 1/2 hours, full stop!

...... and that, my friends, is why most courses do not allow Caddy Girls.
