Arrived New Years Day for our two month stay. After staying at a few places, we found Island Resort 6000 North Ocean blvd in Myrtle Beach. Great resort and recommend highly. I have only played once and that was at The River Club. Overall conditions were good, greens rolled true. As a twosome the starter got us out early and saved us a least 45 minutes! All staff from bag drop, pro shop, and on course crew, very welcoming. I have a couple of tee times this week and will report.

Sounds like the course was single teeing. You probably know that if it was
busy with a double tee, you would wait on the back 9.
I have looked at Island Vista. It is expensive in peak season and also fills up quickly then.
Whispering Pines, Kings North + ST Maples are renovated.
