Next April 7th my group has an 8:04 am tee time at Legends Parkland. My question: What is the earliest flight time we should plan on being able to make after the round? Is a 2:30pm flight out of Myrtle Beach too early?
Legends or any course can be a slow round, plus you have
lunch included at Legends. If you want to finish the round
and allow comfortable time to get to the airport, you should
calculate 5 hours for golf.
If you are seeing a 2:30pm flight you like and want to get it,
you could also end your round at a set time, to get to the
airport an hour early or whatever it is these days. I have
not been flying.
If trying to squeeze in a round to get to a flight, you could
try to get the first tee time on a single tee course, like
Wild Wing, MW Palmetto, BF Fazio/Norman.
After play at Wild Wing, it can be a slow drive down 501.
Legends misses a lot of the 501 congestion.
