For our 4some I get the packager to price a 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom condo. The difference in cost is then split between the two guys who get their own room.
One year we could only get a 2bedroom. I took the pullout couch, one guy got his own room and the other two shared. Single room paid extra and I got a couple of dinners paid by the other guys for enduring the hardship of the pullout couch. A great week of golf and everyone was happy.
We do something similar to Denis, We play a full handicapped stableford and choose in order of finish. We call it the "play in g ame".
As long as i have a room big enough for my clothes and my clubs i am cool. if not we are playing to see who gets the nice rooms.
