Our annual golf trip is moving a little further down the strand this year.  We've typically been staying in the NMB area and done most of our dining in that area.  This year we will be staying close to Whispering Pines and the airport.  Some of the courses we are playing are Wild Wing, Wizard, TPC, Caledonia.  While I've got some knowledge of the restaurants in the vicinity, I can certainly use some help.

Probably looking at California Dreaming in Surfside as one destination.  Haven't been to, but heard mention of Atlas Tap House and Bubba's Fish Camp & Smokehouse.  Market Commons is also close by but have never been.  There will be 7 of us.  Nothing too fancy or formal.  Lively is always good.  Beer and cocktails sometimes takes precedent over the actual dining.

Thanks in advance for your input.

If Wild Wing or Wizard are PM rounds, Sam Sneads is nearby.
If Cale is PM you have Gios Italian or Franks Outback nearby.
Sounds like you aren't staying far from Angelo's Steak.
In Coastal Grand Mall is Abeulo's for Mexican.

Your CA Dreaming idea is a good option.

On your way back from Caledonia swing into the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet and hit up the Dead Dog saloon or the Claw House for good food and a great atmosphere.

Two more to consider in Murell's Inlet near 'The Dead Dog' would be 'Drunken Jack's' and 'Texas Roadhouse' on US 17 business (not to be confused with Coastal Mall Texas Roadhouse Grill, totally different)

Thanks for all the suggestions.  The Marsh Walk area has been a staple for years, although we've only eaten at the Dead Dog Saloon.  The guys are looking to mix it up this year so we'll likely try one of the other places there.

We like Hot Fish Club in Murrell's. Ate at the King Street Grill in Kiawah, solid suggestion.

It's pretty hard to go wrong with just about anywhere in Murrels Inlet.
