Played River Hills for the first time since the greens and some bunkers were reconstructed. After two days of steady rain, the course was surprisingly dry. Only 11 and 17 were cart path.

The course as usual was in quite good shape. The expanded greens are nice as they had become fairly small in some cases in recent years.

River Hills offers very good value considering the combination of the conditioning, the layout and the price. And it is a challenging course. Fairways do not provide a lot of room for error and the green complexes require your short game be sharp (mine was not today).
