No over seed anywhere - greens are fantastic, course in great condition - drains well, off the path. Played with 1putt1 - we both almost played well. A great guy to play with if you get the chance, and a great course to enjoy this game.

Thanks for this update. Surf Club is pure old style golf: no houses, condos or artificial hazards to hit over/around.

There are some houses on the course - but most of them are far beyond my budget! It is a great walkable course.

Played it last week for free off a Brunswick County First Tee Certificate I won last summer. Surf club is the type of course that I could play every day. Greens were perfect....Can't wait to play it again when it greens up.

Forgot to add that they charge a walking fee of $13 to their members to help keep the dues lower.

Surf Club is a favorite although I have not played there since the 1990's when it went private. I know it's available via some golf packagers, probably including Brian. I always loved playing here; very traditional MB golf course, no tricks, it's all there in front of you, housing sits far away from the course so it's not intrusive. Surf Club is a gem of the Grand Strand.
