I don't see many reports on this one and hadnt played it in a few years so was curious to see what I'd get. We played early morning as a threesome and got around in just under 3.5 hours which was nice. Course was a little wet early due to the dew but we were riding the fairways.
Course starts off pretty straight forward for 1st 5-6 holes but then starts to get interesting. I really like #9 which is a modest snake of a par 5 with water creeping in from the right in front of the green. Tough to see it from the fairway so wise to be safe and play way left leaving 100 yards to the green. The back 9 lay out was really good, far superior to the front in my opinion. Good mix of holes including a short par 5 which requires a tee shot of at least 200 yards to a wide landing area with some bunkers sprinkled into the landing area. If you're in the fairway it's all systems go to the green.
Tees were a little hairy in places and they had started aerating some of them on the back 9 which was a bit annoying. Fairways played fast with good amount of roll. Greens rolled nice with medium speed.
All in all, a good golf experience and after playing it found myself surprised I didnt remember too much of it from the 1st time I had played it.
I also played this one when it was wet., so it was hard to judge
The greens were good.

Played it a couple months ago and the conditions were bad from tee to green. Will be quite awhile before I go back.
Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
thanks for the report. have heard very little about this course.
mperna thanks for the update on this course. I played it a long time ago and POP was fast also. It is a nice course that isnt top of the line but a great course to play for the cost.
