I have been coming to MyrtleBeach since the early 90’s.  I have played about every course.  I was just thinking about my favorite courses that have closed.  I loved the 3 Bay Tree courses as I had a condo there fore 15 years.  But my favorite course that has closed is Ocean Harbour.  Wonderful layout.  We booked every year we went from Ohio.  We still go to the beach every year and play only upper tier courses, but we still miss Ocean Harbor.

I loved the 27 holes at Heather Glen.  Played a couple nice rounds there and the price was right.  Recently heard that Chianti South closed as well - located right at the entrance to HG.  Was always nice stop to eat.

I have been going to Myrtle Beach since 1977 and think I have played every course except some of the privates. My favorite that I miss is Marsh Harbour. The island fair way number 17 was unique. Also miss Heather Glen.

I have made more than 30 trips to MB.  My all-time favorite course was Farmstead, which has been closed for at least four years.

For me the course I miss the most is Heather Glen, all three nines were terrific IMO.

Some of what used to be Ocean Harbour has been developed, but the Marsh Harbour property is still sitting there completely untouched. Supposedly a developer was interested in building a new course there sometime in the past decade but the property's owner was unwilling to sell or lease the land.

I'd probably pick Heather Glen as my most missed. I don't think it was one of the very best courses in the area, but it had solid holes and it wasn't too far from our beach house in Brunswick County. I think the only other closed courses I'd actually played are Farmstead, Possum Trot, Angel's Trace, and Ocean Isle Beach Golf Course.

Another of my favorites that I had forgotten about was Robbers Roost.

Seeing I haven't gone as long as some of you or didn't play some of the courses. My favorite that is gone is The Witch. Had some memorable rounds there when it as open.

Among the closed golf courses in Myrtle Beach, Marsh Harbour is the one I miss the most. It featured numerous stunning marsh views, exceptional scenic beauty, and a challenging yet highly enjoyable layout. Its sister course, Ocean Harbour, was also a beautiful course. The loss of both feels particularly poignant.

I miss Heather Glenn.  A neat little course I played only 1 time in the World Am that closed long ago was Ocean Isle.  The day I played it, it was in pretty close to perfect condition.  I had a really good round there and never got to play it again.

When I think about all the courses that closed, whether I like the course or not, I can usually remember 1 or 2 holes on those courses that I really thought were good holes.

I cannot remember the name of the course now, only played it 1 time also, but it was right there close to the interchange at 501 and 31 on the North West side.  It too was in great shape the 1 time I played it.

I think you mean Belle Terre, but that was South East of that intersection.
