I am a new resident to the MB area and was wondering if someone could recommend a good app or website for making tee times...ease of use and good rates. Are there discounts available to residents as well?

Since I'm not a resident, I don't know the resident's favorite way to
actually book the tee times.  Residents do get discounts with
programs like the Passport, FGI Prime Times card, Legends card, etc.
Usually they are 48 hour rates.

We would appreciate some golf reviews.

Look at the Myrtle Beach golf trail card.  Good rates at 27 courses and a 7 day booking window.  I guess it all depends on where you will play the majority of you golf as to which card makes the most sense.

Look at the Legends also, they have annual membership for residents and non residents.

Most of the amateurs I play with in MB usually join more than one. Founders and Mystic for example.

Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars

I have the MB Golf Passport card and normally use that.  They increased the booking window from 2 days to 3 days in advance and the rates are pretty good.  The website is well designed so booking is easy.  I'd recommend starting there and/or considering what some of the others have posted previously.

I’m probably showing my age but I really miss the days you would pick up a Sun News. Then drink a coffee and look at the sports page to see which courses had specials. Those were the days.

We also use the MB Passport, never a problem booking over the winter time at any area course.  Other Cards are also available that offer free games once a certain amount of points have been achieved.
