Had a quiet drive home, rest areas in Penn. were all closed.  All fast food places open for drive thru or take out, plus restrooms available and they had Toilet paper.  Gas Stations all open and prices as low as I have seen them for a while.  Border Crossing was good, questions about our health and a request to self quarantine for 14 days and take our temperatures as a precaution.  Truck traffic was heavy in both directions to US and Can. good thing as they deliver so much for everybody.

Really hoping this Virus does it thing and we can get a handle on it and everyone's lives return to a more normal.  To everyone take care, be cautions and do the right thing to stay healthy.

Glad you were able to make it back safe and sound.  Hadn't even taken into consideration the rest stops possibly being closed.

rest areas in Penn. were all closed

I heard they were going to reopen them. Panic has set in!

Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars

Closed rest stops are going to have people going in the woods, which might
be safer from CV.

Thanks for all your reports over the winter.

Glad you made it back with no problems. Golf course I play at here is now closed until further notice.

Could be a lot of that if courses take precautions to be on the safe side.  Here once we open up fully there is talk of 1 person in a cart, or walking only.

Did you cut your MB trip short Gary ?

Good to see you got home in one piece.

Yes I had to cut short our Snowbird stay by 4 weeks, to bad as Yank and DJ were supposed to come, always enjoy a good game with them.  In our Complex a total of 42 golfers left early and 12 did not make it for Spring Break due to the Virus and travel restrictions by both the Us and Canada.

Ahh crap. Well, at least you got some great golf ( and pictures) in Gary.

This is the craziest golf- blocking experience I have ever seen.

Hurricane?  okay, I've seen that..

Lightning ? okay.

Snow ?  okay.

Virus ?  This is a first.

And it's unacceptable. Where can I protest ?

@jw11

After fighting fires for 30 years and surviving sort of, I am not letting a friggin virus take me down, still got lots of golf in me and bogey's to make before I sleep.
