Arrowhead with Brian 9-27-20
Still wet, but the driest course we've been on all week. As usual, everything here was exceptional. Friendly staff, well organized & great conditions everywhere. Bunkers were a little hard down in the middles, due to all the recent rains.
Once the dew dried off the greens, they were slick & smooth and would hold a well struck shot. Still very little bounce or runout on drives, but at least if you were hitting high ground, you were on terra firma.
As always, playing with Brian makes for a great day on the course, & easier to laugh off the bad shots. I was killing it off the tee all day, but short game was non existent.
Off to dinner now....
Today's drink de jour....Tito & Lemonade.
Great to play Arrowhead with Brian, always a fun day with him. Thanks for your take on the course.
Couple picyures from today, our 4 approach shots on the first par 3 on the Lakes course, & Frank slashing one off the moguls on the 8th on Cypress. (Maybe)
Chillin on Sunday morning at Arrowhead.
Great narration! 😉
Glad you had a great time.

Thanks for the report. Last time I played with Brian he drove his tee shot onto the fringe of a 350 yd. par 4!! Arrowhead is not an easy course. Can be quite difficult if you are on the wrong set of tees.
Thanks for the update on a great course to play. I bet you had a great day playing with Brian.
