If just stopping for a drink I like BULLY'S.. and while you're there you can play a game of pool. I don't remember ever eating there, but they have 2 or 3 dozen beers on tap.

For a  great burger stop at WILD WINGS .

I like FLYING FISH  for happy hour or dinner (fresh fish) , but my wife isn't a big fan of the atmosphere (?) , so we haven't been there in the last couple trips.

Wild Wings Café has wings and beer.  One of my friends stops for a friendly game of dominos most afternoons.  I'd give this saloon my vote.

I don't go to Barefoot Landing much, but Wild Wings would also be my choice.

I went to Flying Fish once and the scallops were good.  If you go there for dinner, only sit
in the back room overlooking the waterway.  The bar area is all noise and traffic getting to the
back room.

Norman's is the upscale place, but steaks IMO aren't any better than Longhorn,
Carolina Roadhouse, CAlif Dreaming, etc, but Norman's is a lot more expensive
at A La Carte pricing.    Norman's is in the NY Prime price range, so might as well go to
NY Prime.

I like Flying Fish on the upper deck overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway. Also like Umbertos for their two giant pork chops that I have to doggie bag one for the next day!

A 2nd Blueberry's Grill has opened at Barefoot, not your usual MB breakfast or lunch, prices are also higher, we went and it was very tasty.

There is a new place in Barefoot, LULU's.  Looks like next to Norman's.
I can't tell if it's a new building or took over another building.
It looks fairly big.  https://lulubuffett.com/northmyrtlebeach/#

I read Lucy Buffett is Jimmy's sister, so may be like his Margaritaville.

They actually filled in some of the lake and built Lulus there. They’ve closed the road that used to run along the waterway and planted some live oak trees back there. There’s also a New Mexican place called Taco Mundo. They tore down the TBonz and built the new place close to there.

I've only eaten at Barefoot Landing once and it was at Umbertos.  It was excellent, so I'll say that until I try other places.

Go across the street from Barefoot  to Rockefellers for seafood and raw bar.   Try the "Priddy" shrimp....the best shrimp dish I ever ate.   Cool captains chairs around the bar....enjoy!!

Dawg,

Been to Rockafellas  3 or 4 times and I agree with you.

Haven't had the Priddy shrimp yet, but shrimp cocktail at happy hour was great and everything else we have had there was real good too.

Those chairs around the bar are nice n comfy.

I like Umberto's - (played golf with one of the owners - he's a better chef than golfer) food is excellent and a lot of it. Gets a little loud in season with the large golf groups.

Golf is just an excuse to drink whiskey and smoke cigars
