I’m thinking that the new TopGolf has got to be just about finished, right?  I’ve never been to one, but looks like an interesting place to hang out and I’d think it’d be pretty popular in MB.  Anyone have new info?

Went to one in Charlotte and they are pretty cool. I can see it doing well in Myrtle.  Lots of games you can play with the golf and drinking and food.

They still are not posting a date. They have added a text sign-up if you want updates. We are planning to hit it the last week of Feb if it's open.

On the news last week they said that they’re starting to hire. Around 350 positions available. Still no date though.

We drove by yesterday, it is on the corner of 29th Ave. N. and Grissom Parkway, still looks like a month or more to opening from what we can see from the road.

I will put it this way, there are way to many things to do in Myrtle for me and my family then go to Topgolf. I would take them here in the burgh but that is different.

I second what Leftgar1 says.  I drive by it often when either picking up or dropping off my stepdaughter at school.  I would say it opens up in mid-March to mid-April, but that is just a guess.

I personally think it will do very well and I can imagine huge wait times during peak tourist season.  Hopefully it will generate some interest for vacationers and they will want to play the real thing while on vacation.  It should also be popular with the evening golf group crowds.

It is possible thatTop Golf could attract youngers generations to the game of golf.

If somebody tries hitting balls at Topgolf, because they went with others, they may feel it's
fun and start to play.

I wonder if someone who can hit the ball long, like 275+ carry can hit it out of Topgolf.
I saw that the balls are limited flight.

I would like to visit just to look around and see what it's like.
On a rainy day and evenings during peak season, it should be mobbed in MB.
Lots of golfers from smaller towns don't have a Topgolf near them.

While visiting my son in Dallas area we spent a few hours at Top Golf.  It was a hoot.  The grandkids were pleasantly exposed to the game.  My son and I engaged in a fun match.  The suds and burgers added zest to the afternoon.  Their equipment was satisfactory.  I'd do it again.  They just opened one here in Western PA.

Been past the one in Pittsburgh, it is still SUPER busy cause it is new. I am hoping to take a kids there on a day coming up to let them see what it is like. One of my girls is thinking of a birthday party there during the day.

I read an article in Golf Digest about golf simulators in Korea.
They don't have enough courses, so many have to use golf simulators where you hit
balls into a screen, playing famous courses.

They even have tournaments and pro tournaments for prize $$ on the simulators.
I guess that is their version of Topgolf.  ?
